In opdracht van Story Sound leverden wij een complete lichtset voor podium en zaal tijdens Pleinpop 2015. De podiumset bestaat uit een decor van Prolyte truss aangevuld met bewegend en conventioneel licht. In de zaal hebben wij diverse 4-barren opgehangen. Tijdens het 3daagse festival in Alphen leverden wij tevens de lichttechnici en zorgden voor op- en afbouw.<\/p>\n

Geschiedenis van Pleinpop:<\/p>\n

Voor de meeste is Pleinpop.NL een bekend begrip geworden de afgelopen jaren. Door velen ook ervaren als een groot feest, een festijn voor jong en oud waar “ouderwetse”gezelligheid nog hoog in het vaandel staat en waar men kan genieten van een goed en leuk stuk muziek. Maar hoe is Pleinpop.NL tot stand gekomen…?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n

Al jaar en dag organiseerde Stichting Evenementen Alphen de Jaarmarkt in Alphen (Gld), of zoals ze zelf zeggen “d’n Alfse Braderie”. Een jaarmarkt die zich onderscheide van alle andere markten door haar grote aanbod van verschillende koopwaar, maar ook in het aanbod van muziek. Diverse Nederlandse artiesten hebben tijdens de Jaarmarkt in Alphen al op het podium gestaan. Zo zou dit ook gaan gebeuren op 28 mei 2000, al weer voor de 13e keer op rij zou de markt gaan plaats vinden op de zondag na Hemelvaart. Of het nu aan de 13e jaarmarkt lag of niet, \u00e9\u00e9n ding staat vast: het werd een ongeluksdag. Door een hevige storm, zoals we die in jaren niet meer hadden gehad, moest de markt al kort na haar begin worden gestaakt. De organisatie vond het onverantwoord om onder zulke barre omstandigheden verder te gaan. De beslissing was nog maar net genomen of de eerste marktkramen vlogen al de lucht in… een tragisch einde van een dorpsfeest wat al 12 jaar had plaats gevonden, althans dat leek het te worden…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n

Gelukkig zagen vele Alphenaren de ernst van de situatie in, dit mocht gewoon niet de laatste keer zijn. Diezelfde middag nog werd er door de Alphse jeugd in het dorpscaf\u00e9 met de pet rondgegaan. Een zeer aardig bedrag werd er opgehaald, alleen helaas nog niet voldoende om het volgende jaar een doorstart te kunnen maken. In de week daarna werd er door verschillende mensen een actie op touw gezet. Er zou een collecte gehouden worden in Alphen. Dit bleek een goude ingeving te zijn. Er werd voldoende geld binnen gehaald en overhandigd aan de organisatie, ook volgden er verschillende donaties uit het bedrijfsleven… de jaarmarkt was gered!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n

Uit dit gebaar kon de Stichting maar \u00e9\u00e9n ding concluderen: wat zij organiseerden werd gewaardeerd door zeer veel mensen binnen en buiten Alphen. Het jaar erop, 2001 wilde zij dan ook iets terug doen. Besloten werd om de zaterdagavond voor de Jaarmarkt iets kleinschaligs te organiseren als blijk van waardering. Er zou een gratis festivalletje opgezet worden onder de veelzeggende naam: All-fun Festival. Gewoon een gezellige avond op het plein met wat kleine bands. “Als we een kleine 300 man op het plein krijgen zijn we dik tevreden” zo werd er gezegd. De verbazing was dan ook groot toen bleek dat er op die avond geen 300 maar al gauw 800-900 mensen op afgekomen waren, niet alleen mensen vanuit Alphen maar ook van daar buiten. Kortom: het werd een top-avond!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n

Hieruit viel maar \u00e9\u00e9n ding op te maken: er was behoefte aan iets dergelijks in heel Maas & Waal. De koppen werden dan ook bij elkaar gestoken en al snel was Pleinpop.NL geboren. Over \u00e9\u00e9n ding waren ze het met zijn allen snel eens: het kerkplein zou overdekt moeten worden. Want hetzelfde risico zoals in mei 2000 zou men niet nog een keer willen lopen. Besloten werd om het gehele plein te overdekken met een immense feesttent welke plaats zou bieden aan ruim 2500 bezoekers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n

De rest is geschiedenis. De Alphse Jaarmarkt is helaas per 2005 opgehouden te bestaan, daar staat tegenover dat Pleinpop.NL is uitgegroeid tot een 3-daags muziekspektakel voor jong en oud. In 2015 dus voor de 15e keer Pleinpop.NL!!<\/p>\n
